It has long been a goal of SSWR to offer meaningful programming to the membership throughout the year. Throughout 2021, a range of post-conference events will be organized by SSWR and available to all SSWR 2021 virtual conference registrants. These sessions will be weekly from February to May and from August to November. They will include abstract-based workshop sessions, special interest group (SIG) meetings, and poster forums organized by cluster. See the post-conference event page for more info.
To access the 2021 virtual post-conference event site, see email sent on Friday, February 5, 2021, from firstname.lastname@example.org with the link and login instructions. If you did not receive your access email, please email email@example.com.
All live post-conference events presentations are in Eastern time zone.
In the spirit of healing, we would like to acknowledge the original Peoples of the land upon which the SSWR building stands. We acknowledge and honor in the territory of the Doeg (Tauxenent) People who had their main village site just north of Aquia Creek, and other sites of Miompse at Mason Neck, Virginia, Quantico Creek (Pamacocack), Powell’s Creek (Yosococomico), and Neabsco Creek (Nipsco). We also acknowledge and honor other Algonquian Peoples of this territory- the Kinwaw Pasketikweya or Piscataway Conoy on the Maryland side and the Nacotchtank (Anacostan) Peoples in what is now the Washington DC area.
