Participant registration includes all conference materials, refreshment breaks, admission to the Opening Plenary Session and Welcome Reception on Thursday, the Membership Meeting, Board Service, Fellows, Awards, and the Presidential Plenary as well as the President’s Reception on Saturday. Participant registration also includes entry to exhibits, lectures, papers, posters, symposia, roundtables, and workshops.
All presenters/speakers are required to register for the conference and must be current 2020 SSWR members. This includes ALL oral and poster presenters, symposia organizers, symposia paper presenters and discussants, and workshop and roundtable speakers.
We urge you to register as soon as possible, as space is limited. Those registered by December 6, 2019, will receive the early registration rate.
Exhibitor registration includes an 8’ x 10’ booth space as well as listing in the 2020 program book and the 2020 conference website. See exhibitor registration for additional exhibitor and advertising information. Note that payment MUST accompany registration for exhibitors and ad copy.

Membership Demographic Questions on Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation
To implement SSWR’s Strategic Plan 2018-2022, SSWR has undertaken efforts to increase the diversity and inclusivity within the membership and to enhance member engagement and member satisfaction through programming and other opportunities. SSWR has identified gender identity and sexual orientation as two of these aspects. (Please click here to read more from the SSWR Board of Directors.) Please note these are required questions on the online form when paying by credit card; however, you have the option to select “prefer not to say.” If you prefer not to respond in any manner to these four demographical questions (e.g. ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, and disability) for privacy reasons, you may register using the PDF registration form (downloaded conference attendee or volunteer attendee form). Follow instructions on the PDF registration form to submit.
Membership Discounted Registration Rate
To take the membership discounted registration rate, one must be a current SSWR member at the time of registration, i.e., if you are a 2019 member and register in 2019 you may take the discounted rate for the 2020 conference. If you join or renew your membership for 2019 before you register your new/updated contact and demographic information will not be reflected on the registration form in real-time; you will need to re-enter your information. Please note, if you are a presenter you must be a current member at the time of your presentation in 2020 regardless of when you register.

Refunds/Cancellations
A refund of 50% of the registration fee will be given by SSWR in the event of cancellation. Notification must be received by January 3, 2020. Refunds after this date are not possible.
