Dear Colleagues,
As Eddie Uehara announced last week, the SSWR Board voted to increase the number of oral and poster presentations at the 2015 conference in New Orleans. Another exciting change is scheduling posters concurrent with oral papers and other symposia. These changes expand opportunities for conference attendees to interact with scholars about their work. They also attest to the evaluation of poster presentations to be on par with oral presentations. Abstract submissions for both types of presentations will be reviewed with the same standards of scientific rigor and importance.
I am sending this short update to let you know of these new opportunities to present your research and to remind you that the deadline for SSWR abstracts is rapidly approaching. I encourage you to submit an abstract by April 30th.
