Thank you for signing up to receive CEUs from the SSWR 2022 Annual Conference, January 13-16, 2022. This year, all CEU registrants will utilize the Conference App to track your conference participation and document your CEU credits.
General Information about CEUs:
The SSWR workshops, papers, symposia, the in person and live-streamed plenary sessions, the three in person and live-streamed invited symposia, the in person and live-streamed doctoral student luncheon, and all Thursday morning research methods workshops and special sessions on research priorities and capacity building meet requirements for continuing education units (CEUs) for social workers approved by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). Please note, however, that not all states accept NASW-approved CEUs. We strongly advise you to check with the organization that is responsible for your state licensing that NASW-approved CEUs are acceptable by your state.
To receive CEUs, your evaluation of EACH session that you attended must be completed and submitted via the 2022 Conference App. Download the 2022 Conference App at http://www.core-apps.com/dl/sswr_conferences. To submit your evaluation, find the session on the app, click on the Clipboard icon, answer the evaluation questions and click Submit/Save. You must submit your responses 5 minutes before the session ends through 10 minutes after the session. Staff will review your evaluation ratings and confirm your CEUs post-conference. No partial credit will be awarded – participants must remain through entire sessions to receive credit. The number of CEUs is dependent on the number of sessions attended at the meeting.
Please note it is NASW policy that oral paper presenters, workshop speakers, symposium organizers and symposium discussants, and symposium paper presenters may not receive credit from the session in which they are participating.
There is a $20 CEU certificate fee (non-refundable) to cover costs incurred by SSWR and NASW. CEU certificates will be emailed to you by SSWR a minimum of eight (8) weeks after the conference has concluded. No CEU forms will be available or accepted after the conference ends.
Given the nature of this year’s conference, some sessions have been withdrawn and some sessions may have fewer presentations than originally planned. Please note you may only get CEUs from sessions that run 60 or 90 minutes as scheduled.
This is how you’ll need to complete your CEUs:
1. Download the 2022 Conference App at http://www.core-apps.com/dl/sswr2022
2. On the app, open the Program Schedule icon
3. Find the session(s) you are interested in. Attend the session from start to finish.
4. To document your participation in each session, click on the Clipboard icon, answer the evaluation questions and click Submit/Save. You must submit your responses 5 minutes before the session ends through 10 minutes after the session.
5. Staff will review your evaluation ratings and confirm your CEUs post-conference.
Hardcopy CEU form is also available if you choose to complete your CEUs by print. Please follow the instructions on the hardcopy CEU print in order to get CEUs.
