Early-bird registration deadline: December 1, 2017
SSWR provides opportunities for students to “earn” their registration fee by volunteering at the SSWR Annual Conference. Volunteers assist with registration, monitor sessions (handout materials, count the number of attendees in each session, assist presenters with AV needs, sign CEU forms) and provide directions to attendees.
Student volunteers must attend one of the orientation sessions either Wednesday, January 10 at 6:00 pm or 12:00 pm or 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 11 held at the Marriott Marquis Hotel to receive their assignments.
Volunteers are expected to contribute 8 hours of time during the conference. Students who are also presenters may schedule their volunteer time so it does not conflict with their presentations.
